With six months to go until the Australasia Bus and Coach Expo 2022 will be held at Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park on the 5th and 6th October 2022, BusNSW has had strong exhibitor interest and registrations.
BusNSW Executive Director, Matt Threlkeld, said there are only a handful of vehicle display stands and a small number of booths still available.
“This will be an event like no other with the move to zero emission vehicles and key decision makers will have an opportunity to see and evaluate battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses at the one location,” Threlkeld said.
“We are expecting the display areas and booths to be sold out, so we strongly encourage any industry suppliers who are thinking of exhibiting to register very soon.” he said.
“The BusNSW Board has made a conscious decision to continue with a free entry model for the Sydney Expo which will focus on a stand-alone exhibition,” Threlkeld said.
“The Expo will feature over $50m worth of vehicles and equipment, and more than 100 exhibition booths under one roof.” he said
The event is supported by Transport for NSW who will be exhibiting at the Expo.
A comprehensive Expo program will be printed in the August edition of the Australasia Bus & Coach magazine, so we encourage industry suppliers to register in time for inclusion in this key publication.
“The event will include the Volvo Welcome Function on Tuesday 4th October and an Industry Gala Dinner on Wednesday 5th October,” Threlkeld said.
“Registration to visit the Expo and to attend the social functions will open via the Expo website soon” he said.
The Expo is being held in the second week of the NSW school holidays and following the October long weekend, which includes the NRL Grand Final.
“We strongly recommend that visitors and exhibitors book accommodation early given it will be a busy time in the Sydney Olympic Park precinct,” Threlkeld said.
